Victorian Diamond ‘En tremblant’ Brooch
Very rare Victorian ‘En tremblant’ diamond brooch.
The central flower of brooch is sprung to give the effect of trembling.
It is made from 9ct rose gold on the back and silver fro the floral design.
The central diamond is 0.64ct and old European cut H colour , I-2 clarity and is surrounded by eighteen old cut diamonds with a combined weight of 2.57ct. There are also 140 rose cut diamonds making up the leaves and buds of this floral extravaganza.
Truly an amazing piece from 1880s.
